Had to remove my oil tank to get to my livewell pump on my 03 ZX225, 225 OX66. When I took the hose off so I could remove the tank, it leaked some oil. When I put the tank back in, will I have to re-prime the oil again somehow or just hook the hose back to the tank again and go. Thanks.
Now, I'm no mechanic but it goes from the tank to the resivoir under the cowling then to the motor. So i don't think it matters. As long as there is oil in the resivoir under the cowling.
Maybe i should let someone else answer this one.

I would agree. You are not using oil directly from that tank. It gets pumped to the tank under the cowl first then into the engine. I don't think it will make a difference but to be safe you could always give the manual oil pump switch a little bump to make sure it's pumping from one tank to the other.
