    Bob's Machine Exhaust

Hey all..like all of us I'm trying to squeeze every last drop of speed from the engine. First off I'm working with a 2004 Triton TR186 SC with a Yamaha VMAX 150hp CARBED..6" TH Marine plate, trim extenders,23" Tempest, also TR24 4 blade, runs right around 5900/6000rpms and just about 59/60mph gps.

#1 thoughts about adding 2" spacer plates to the jack plate

#2 thoughts about adding a Bob's Machine Exhaust Housing, "relieves back pressure results in more efficient low end throttle response and increased fuel economy".

I am well aware of nothing beats cubic displacement (bigger engine),but trying to also be budget minded.

    Any thoughts???

    Thanks in advance

I would not do the mods you are talking about! I think that would be just a wast of money.
If you want to get the biggest bang for the buck take to Hydro Tech! That is the only way to go on hopping up a hammer!
