I have an 02 HPDI. I change the water pump every year, plugs every year, lowere unit fluid every year. What filters should I change. I have had the boat a year and a half and have not changed anything. I see everyone talk about adding a fuel filter, but what is the reason. Also, please tell me where all the filters are. Oh yeah, motor has 310 hours on it and no probs. Thanks
Forgot one thing. Sometimes when I floor the hotfoot there is about a one second lug before the motor accelerates. Any ideas? Thanks
The prop may need more venting. Or you never run ring free or seafoam and carbon is causing the hesitation.

A inline filter for fuel is a good thing it will also seperate water from system....a new fuel filter on the motor too.... 21xdc said, prop venting .... take a plug out of the prop and see if it helps...
