Yamaha O2 sensor gasket

Guys recently cleaned my o2 sensor and dumbell and the gasket tore when trying to remove it gently. ordered a new one part 50 65L-11357-00-00 and when it arrived it appears that they updated it. the gasket was no longer in one piece, it has a small triangle shape gasket and a square gasket that only has a seal of about 1/4 of an inch to seal the cover for the sensor. like the idea that the material is similar to an gasket on a sensor for a car or truck. question is has anybody installed this new style gasket ? if you click on this link the part number is 50 and they list a new part number of 68F-W1135-00-00. looking at the picture the one gasket will cover the lower part of the O2 sensor and has 3 holes for the bolts and dumbell. the other gasket will fit inside the part # 45 and seal the edges of the surface. looks like it may be a better design but was curious as to what others think. thanks for the input. motor is a 98 200 vmax VTLRW.

I experienced the new gasket design a couple of weeks ago. No worries, it was no problem.

Thanks for the response. got a chance today to put the new gasket on. one I got the smaller part centered on the dumbell, I was good to go. thanks for the imput.
