Impeller V-Max 225

How do you get the impeller off of the shaft once you take the silver cover off the impeller. Thanks

I just get two flat blade screwdrivers and pry it up, it'll pop loose. While you have the waterpump off check the driveshaft seal under the pump base plate and make sure the radius tension spring on the seal isn't broken. That seal is the weak point for water entry into the lower unit. Easy to replace while you're in there.
