Does the Yamaha 27T prop have an internal hub that can be easily replaced similar to what can be done with the Merc Props?

They have a rubber pressed in hub.... They will fit right on a Merc small shaft motor....

Thanks. I have a repair shop tellng me that fishing line has ruined the thrust washer and hub in my prop, among other things, and that I will need a new prop because re-hubbing the prop is typically not successful. Since this is my first Yamaha, I don't want to jump to any conclusions but his just does not sound right to me.
I believe Mark Croxton on the "props" page can press in a new one for a good price.![]()
I have never heard of fishing line doing that... But the HPDI motors run hotter exhaust and melt some... Have Mark drill some cooling holes so it never happens again... Call him and ask his opinion...

OK, I got a look at the prop today and it looks fine. The rubber hub looks like it has shrunk end to end as compared to another prop that I looked at but it was not the exact same prop either. Since I do not have a spare prop, I'm going to buy a new one and have this one rehubbed to serve as my spare after I have it looked at by someone else. The biggest thing that bothers me is that I never saw a decrease in speed or increase in RPMs like I would expect for a "slipping" hub.
Any suggestions for a new prop? I have been considering a 27 TXP. My boat is a Blazer 202 with a 225 HPDI.
