water pressure 150 prov

new to bbc!! Recently purcased my 1st glass boat 97 skeeter zx185c w/prov150 it has a water pressure gauge an I know very little about water pressure in an outboard other than it cools the thing What kind of pressure readings should I be seeing?

Min of 13lbs to be safe at wide open throttle. Great fishing boat... Fast motor too. I bet your motor needs jacked up like most. They come deep from the factory. You need a 24p TRO4.... You'll like it alot.

Thanks 21XDC I was reading 15,16lbs yesterday at wot. Once I get a replacement antenna cable for my gps I'll know my exact speed. The speedometer read 72 yestersday with just me 1/2 tank fuel empty livewells and I know its way off I'm guessing somewhere between 60-63mph

I bet it's faster than that... The 1997 150's were strong motors. Take care of it and she'll go a long way.. Make sure you run ring free or seafoam in every gallon and shock treat it 1-2 times a year.
