95 evinrude trim

I have a 225 hp 1995 evinrude the last time I pulled my boat out the trim at the steering wheel and the trim on the front deck quit working the only place I could raise and lower the engine was on the engine itself does anyone know of a fuse somewhere seem like no volt at the switch I did look under the engine cover near the raise an lower limits. thanks for any help.

Only fuse is at the block and runs everything. Look forward, check the splices at the controll box and make sure power is on the front panel, some front panel switches won't work unless the main power switch is on.

Also, look on the left side of the motor where the trim harness plugs in, there is a plug with red, blue, green, black with a white tracer and a white with a tan tracer, make sure that plug is connected and has no corrosion.

My trim did work without the power switch on also I do know the trim harness you are talking about but doesn't the trim switch on the motor run off of that also because my switch on the motor still works

Nope, the trim switch on the pan will work with that harness disconnected.

Thanks I will check that tonight hopefully it is it tried of looking for a fuse

Found the problem it was a wire behind the shifter broke replaced it and it works fine. It was the hot wire that also feed the front switch. thanks for your help
