Under the thrust washer, in the web of the exhaust passage, a zerk fitting for grease. Anybody know if I need to grease, how often and with what type of grease?
Under the thrust washer, in the web of the exhaust passage, a zerk fitting for grease. Anybody know if I need to grease, how often and with what type of grease?

100 hours (basically, every year). I grease all the zerks and change the lower unit lube at the same time, I use my birthday as the reminder (March). It's easier to remember that way.
Oh, and I only give one pump of grease to each zerk.
Thanks for the reply. Any particular kind of grease? White lithium?

White lithium won't cut it. It needs a marine grade grease.
