    150 super six

    a friend of mine bought this motor it has 90 psi on all cylinders but the reverse gear is gone also do i have to take off the carbs to get to the lower unit shifter? are the gears still around to get? also why does each cylider have two plugs is this motor worth fixing? im pretty sure he will sell it if anyone wants it thanks

    Not sure about how to access the shift rod, but the theory/purpose of the two plugs per cylinder was to provide a hotter combustion chamber for better performance. They weren't too popular and not many got sold. I have a friend that has one that is blown if you need parts.
