Will new gen2 hds 7 or 8 fit at dash? 2012 pantera 4

I have a new pantera iv. I think the new gen2 hds 7 or 8 will fit in the dash. Can anyone advise if this is correct? I think the BCB website said this on the new console for the p4.

If not, Sherm has a sweet mount adapter for the dash of the Cats

per bcb it will fit. i dont like those mounts, thanks tho

I have a HDS10-GEN.2 on my 2010 PIV that's on one of Sherm's mounts.I have had nothing but compliments on it,most think it was from the factory.It gives someone an option other than cutting out the face of the console.I have the older style console so a flush mount was not an option.
