what type of oil are you guys running through your motor and lower unit. is there a specific brand for mercury or will any premium brand do the job. i would perfer to stick with mercury's recomendations

Quicksilver Premium Plus and Mercury gearlube, cant go wrong.

I use Pennzoil for 2 stroke. Lower unit is what ever the mechanic put in it when he changed out water pump. As long as it is the correct rating it's good oil, IMO
