Ran across a little sand and it took the paint of the keel like taking a rag and wiping it off. Where can I get some paint to match and would I be safe just spraying it on? Thanks

Any BRP dealer will have a can of spray touch up paint about $8.00/can.
Over the years OMC \BRP have had several different color variations that they use in their paint colors so....Make sure to get the serial number and model number from your motor before you go to the dealer to get your paint. If you have the numbers they can make a perfect match![]()

If you don't have a dealer nearby many marine stores (WM, etc) have some as well. Also a quality automotive paint supply store generally can get you fixed up. Small jobs the small cans are best. If you're in salt water apply the green zinc primer first.
Dont do it, mine turned green over time, looks like crap now, looked great when I first did it.
I think if you use the zinc chromate primer(yellow) you won't have a problem.
