    Don, TPS question

I received all the parts to repair my fuel lines and fix my broken bracket on the TPS. I've read about the TPS needing adjustment but this one appears to bolt right on after replacing the linkage bracket. 2003 225 HP Opti. Am I good to go without any adjustments? Thanks Terry

    No adjustment required.

Install correctly, and turn the key on.

The ECM on this engine reads the TPS at the idle position at keyup (and/or startup), and then "adapts" to it's current reading.

Definitely ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure the throttle is kept at the idle position UNLESS you're IN GEAR, ENGINE RUNNING, and GOING SOMEWHERE.
