    Wiring question?

I have a chance to get a 1998 Skeeter at a fair price without a motor. I have a 1995 Mercury XR-6 sitting in my garage with hydraulic steering. My question is: the Skeeter is wired for a Yamaha and has new Teleflex gauges. Is there a way that I can wire everything for my Mercury or do I need new gauges? How hard would it be to change everything over? Thanks

Tach and trim are different. Controls are also different. Should be able to sell the yammie stuff and replace with merc controls/guages

Thanks BassCatt'99 - I also have older Merc gauages and controls, which I forgot to mention in the first post. Just wondering how hard it would be to change everything over.

Not overly difficult... just a lot of "busy work".

If you buy this rig , and swap out every thing. Attach a good solid string/roap the the yami wires, this will give you something to tie off to the merc wires and pull them back through.
