Guys,
Cranked her up to go to the ramp and the motor failed to warm above 102, mostly remained around 98. The motor was "peeing", but not the normal XS stream. I did idle through some shallow water previously so based on the info I've read on here I figure it is the thermostats. I reread 3 or 4 previous posts on the subject, but am hesitant to look into myself (no motor skills on my side of the family) and all the talk regarding fuel rails, 100" torque, etc makes me nervous. Does the 200 have the same fuel rail in the way like the 250? Is it best to replace entire thermostat (precautionary) or just do the gasket? What exactly does one look for after removing the thermostat? Sorry for the ignorance gentlemen, but this is why I usaully make the 8 hour round trip to see Don......
Thanks in advance,
Brad
