    521 DVX/225 HO

I hope to own a 03 521 with 04 225 HO very soon - couple of questions about this set up. What gas and oil should I run in this motor ? What water pressure should I have at WOT - boat has a hydraulic jackplate and I don't want to fry the motor. Also, any positive and negative comments are welcome regarding this combo - I'd like to know as much as possible before buying. Cheers Andy

87 octane fuel, XD-50 or XD-100 oil, water pressure needs to stay above 15 PSI at WOT.

Good rig, Great motor, should give you many years of hassle free service.

Andy, I have that same motor and have been very satisfied with it after 1 year. I use the XD-100 in mine so I don't have to decarb and I've heard it works better in cold temps.

Rus is that a typo on the fuel?? Or did the fuel requirements go up with the 04?
