I have an 08 250 Pro XS that I am changing the gear lube on. When I pulled the pro off the hub, one one the plastic strips that are on the hub fell off. Is this a problem? This is not a plastic hub. I think I have a Torquemaster LU.

You must know Brett Mitchell. He is a buddy of mine and called me tonight about this. I glued my piece back on when mine came off. Been that way now since 07. I used a good quality adhesive to put it back on.
you can also buy new strips. I had one fall off of my 08 250 pro xs and i bought a pack of new strips. I think they were $20 ish...
hell i just noticed you live about 15 minutes from me, i've got a couple of extras, if you want one you can have it...

If you clean the hub surface and strip to remove grease, oil and carbon... they can be re-glued in place utilizing 3M Trim Adhesive.
Replacement "Snubber Strip Kits" are also available (adhesive is pre-applied). Rhonda (in our Parts Department) can set you up with a set if needed.![]()
