Has anyone here tried Simon Motorsports tunes or other mods? If so with what results?

    TTT...

Eric has some nice products... and has invested a substantial amount of R&D (including his joint efforts with Dave Rush).

    Just give Eric a call.

He will answer your questions and not rush through anything !!!

His service is the only things better than his products!

Come to thing of it I have not spoken to Eric in a while, maybe I should call and see if he has any new toys

The other factor that comes into play is "How Much $$$$ Ya Got". Eric's got some great upgrades but your gonna have to weigh the $$$$ vs. what it gives ya or what cha want. HP ain't cheap.........been there......done that.....

Eric's pretty good about returning phone calls (he also answers the phone often)... just keep in mind that he is 3 hours BEHIND you in time (he's on the WEST coast).

Q: "How fast can I make it go?"

A: "How much money you got?"

    Not knocking Simon's. Just sayin'.

    Re: (taeheel2az)

The speed thing is tied directly to hull type and set up (not sure what you run). I had a Viper/Cobra 201d with a 225efi, ran 64 mph. I wanted more and bought a 300xs and had it installed. Picked up 5/6 mph, spent a ton on $$$ and didn't see the rusults I was expecting. I then bought a Stroker, had the 300xs hung and picked up between 22/25 mph depending on conditions. I guess what I am saying is if you want to go fast, look at your entire rig, not just modifying your motor. It is very expensive to go fast. Good luck with your rig.

    Re: (blair)

I spoke to Eric at Simons and he was quick to tell me to save my money. 2000 225 optimax is a lazy 225 which I will be able upgrade much, and that is a direct quote. His advice was to repower with something else. I have since began working with Mark concerning my prop. Through that I believe my prop is a large part of my problem. I will admit though at this point I'm not a big merc fan but we will see.
