I have an 85 115 J115TLCO and I just had the motor rebuilt (August) and there is a miss at high rpm's (5900). Could this be plug fouling since I have been running a 25:1 oil ratio?

Robert,
Sure could be! Now that it is broke in time to change the plugs and to to 50:1. Clean off the old plugs and keep for a spare set or for decarbing the motor.
Fred, do think I will be ok if I continue to run it at that high of rpm's? I run the premium gas in it. Compression (warm) is at 130 on all fours.

Robert,
You want to run premium that is your call but you can run 87. If you want to run 89, 5900 is about all that she needs to run I'd keep it below that around 5500.
