It's jolting while going down the lake( not real bad it's not throwing me into the dash or anything ) but it is noticable. When it starts jolting I can drive thru it by giving more throttle and it stops. It is noticable when ideling less than 1000 rpms, like it may die but it don't. Taking it to the shop next week,but wanted to hear from you guys for any input. Bought it new last sept. I'm thinking (hopeing) something simple like plugs. serial # 1B822981.
we had a surging in our 250xs running down the river it would just cut out for a second and continue on did it off and on all day. We went home siponed all the fuel out went filled her up and it was cured, the fuel got old on me.
There are numerous possibilities.... PRINTOUTS from the Computer Diagnostic System (of the RUN HISTORY AND THE FREEZE FRAME FAULT HISTORY) would be helpful. I'm always happy to review these... and it doesn't matter that there are no active faults (there may STILL be useful information).
Would also be a wise idea to have a VOLTAGE SWEEP TEST done on the TPS (throttle position sensor).

Don, I'm using a Everstart Maxx-29 battery with 875cca,205 reserve. Could this be a problem? Seen the post at top of page about batts. I've had this motor since last sept. and this was not an issue till now. Do I need to change?

That certainly not the "worst" battery spec I've seen. However, I'm presuming those numbers came from the battery's LABEL, and not from an actual LOAD TEST (confirming the battery's ACTUAL capacity), right?
Could be the problem... or might not be. Computer Diagnostic is the BEST means of determining.
