    97 Merc EFI- Oil comes out of top weep hole

    Guy's, Oil seeps out of the top weep hole of the engine mounted oil tank of my 97 Merc 200 EFI when it is sitting. It also comes out of same weep hole when it is idling. I have only run the boat 3 times in the last 6 months. I noticed the oil in the splashwell of the basscat which got me started troubleshooting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Replace the sender/cap on the engine mounted oil tank. It is not supposed to weep or leak in any fashion, EVER.

    After replacement, bleed any air from the Engine Mounted tank per the following instructions:
