I have a 2003 225 3.0 that I am wanting to convert to a 250. I've been told to shave the heads and reprogram the ECU and they say I have the correct intake. What is involved,I already have Boysen Reeds installed. Will it be as strong as a 250 xb?

I may be wrong but I believe you can put 300X heads on that motor. then reprogram the computer and put a big bore throttle body on it![]()

200,225,250 use the SAME cylinder heads in this series.
The BLOCK is different (different cylinder porting). Without substantial internal modification, that one's gonna be "what it is".![]()
