    225 Conversion

I have a 2003 225 3.0 that I am wanting to convert to a 250. I've been told to shave the heads and reprogram the ECU and they say I have the correct intake. What is involved,I already have Boysen Reeds installed. Will it be as strong as a 250 xb?

I may be wrong but I believe you can put 300X heads on that motor. then reprogram the computer and put a big bore throttle body on it

200,225,250 use the SAME cylinder heads in this series.

The BLOCK is different (different cylinder porting). Without substantial internal modification, that one's gonna be "what it is".
