    Trim Problem

Was on the lake today when my trim seemed to lock up. You can hear the electric motor running but the pump sounds as if there is no fluid in it?? sounds like the pump is turning but nothing is happening I do not see where any fluid is leaking out. Anyone have any ideas?

More than likely, the problem is either a LACK of fluid, or a failed motor to pump connection (drive gear, broken motor shaft, or damaged pump).

It may be necessary to utilize the MANUAL RELIEF SCREW (on the starboard/lower side of the trim system, accessed through the transom bracket) to allow lifting the engine up to check the fluid level.
