Yes!
I just had Don rebuild mine last month and he said for the first hour nothing above 5000 rpms and to vary the rpms even if its only by 200-300. Also take off gradually dont just hammer down the first couple of times and be sure to shift from foward to neutral and neutral to reverse at least ten times each trip. Then after the first hour short burst over 5000 but dont hold it there more than a few minutes. After 3 hours let it eat![]()
Don if this isnt right please correct me.
I would say also to keep trimmed down for that first hour also. Only trim it high enough to be able to control the boat safetly.![]()
