Is my only way to get engine information with use of my HDS to have Smartcraft or is there a less expensive alternative without spending $800 to upgrade to Smartcraft? I am really only looking for: tach, rpm, psi and trim height.

The only appropriate way to accomplish this would be to install a MercMonitor (Data Level One, or Data Level Two).
