HPDI battery

I need a new battery for my 250 HPDI and heard that a amg or gel battery was not recommended. Which battery are most people using?

I'm running an Interstate 27 XHD. It's got the most cranking amps I could find for under $120.00. This is my second one. The first lasted 30 months & when it quit it quit. One day it dragged first thing that morning. The next day it wouldn't turnover.

I just put one of these in my boat a couple weeks ago. The 24 series, just didn't have enough for me.

i use a optima blue top and its got more cc amps than the min requirements for the motor . Has worked great so far
