    January Photo Theme.........Night Shots

Use this thread for entries. If this is your first time please read over the new rules here:

    http://www.bbcboards.net/zerothread?id=739318

I also want to step up and take the blame for a couple of disqualifications for last month. The exif data was not present in two peoples photos. They were posted in plenty of time for me to check them, I just didn't do it until the day the contest ended. I should have checked them the day they were entered and that would have given you plenty of time to fix the problem (if there was one). I apologize for that. What I am going to do this month is make the contest dates now Jan 4th through Jan 27th at midnight. Then I will take the 28th to evaluate and get with anyone who needs to fix a photo. Voting will begin the 29th and go through the 31st.

Also I have some changes working in the background that I think everyone will be pleased with. Stay tuned for that

Lastly after this months entry I will set up the voting for the Dobyns rod that Al has graciously offered to us. I will take all the monthly entries and put them in a single thread and have a Picture of the Year poll (or something like that). Thank you Al (and BBC) and good luck

After this month's entry-- as in January? or after last month, December / for picture of the year???

Hmmm, Al kinda already contacted me about this last week. Let me know I could go ahead and pick out what I wanted seeing that there wasn't much competition outside of picking which one of MINE was the winner.

Kinda figured he would have let you know before me? Oh well....

Ok.....I was confused when the post said for picture of the year. My calendars are from January to December. .... then again, we count different up here too

When I win the rod. I'm donating it back for auction with winnings deposited at Al's choice.. BBC fund or BBC Santa.

Angry....your night happens before our night, this side of the pond.

I captured my labrador, truck, harley, jeep and motorcycle trailer in the dark....it looks....well,..... black. Hmmm.

Ok boys, you can put away your cameras this month. It took 2 nights of shooting but I got it. Game over, no need to vote. Oh, I'll keep trying to think of something better so I'll wait to post mine for just a bit.

How's the project coming for everyone? I do believe it gets tougher and tougher every month to come up with a good idea.

Be worried , be verrrrryy worried. I'm letting the clock tick out on this one. Get use to the message "we have our first three time winner - Timberland" I'm writing my victory speech this evening.

Re: January Photo Theme.........Night Shots (RoadrashPaul)

Here goes my first attempt on photo of the month. My original idea was to be able to see the full moon clearly through the bulb. However, I can't find a bulb clear enough to see perfectly through. So, my next idea was to get the moon to illuminate the outer rim of the bulb.
