August Photo Theme........ Pets

Alright.... the poll has officially ended and PETS is our new photo theme. Shoot your pets doing whatever it is they do. Same rules as last month except I am going to clarify that once you enter your photo, that is it. I actually wanted to go back last month and change mine but after talking to Lindsey, he and I decided it may not be fair to everyone. No major photoshopping only crop, minor touchups, color adjustment, exposure etc.

Use this thread to submit photos only. Will accept photos until midnight August 25th. To our Aussie friends, I think this gives you enough time to get them entered this time Anyone that needs any help get with me. Good luck

Never mind I see in July one, that'll be a tough decision. All my dog does is lay around and eat. Lay around pic or eating pic?

This is my pre DSLR days...although a favorite of mine. I look at this photo often and remember all the days we've been through. May appear to be a little tattered around the edges,... even worn looking. I remember the purchase,... It was my first. Not the Red Wings,...they gave up way to early. I'm speaking of "Super Gunnin' Katie".....we called her "Katie" . She never gave up. Although she was my first female lab that we purchased. Every day of her life she aimed to please. Taught me a few things too ...slow down and look around, smell the roses, take a few naps...and dream more. She whelped a litter of 12 healthy pups with our field trial lab "Jake". Katie didn't like guns ...loved birds....but was never fond of the smell of gun powder. If you wanted to go for a walk to flush a few birds...or to smell the roses, Katie was mans best friend. Mis' ya "Katie" --- will always remember the good times.

Thanks! That was taken bending to the ground, It was a very lucky shot. My wife sent it to the people that make that ball (Jolly Pets) and ended up using it for a magazine ad. Sent me a huge box of toys for it. That picture was a 1 in a million for me.
