Need Input on a Nikon CoolPix 100P

I"m getting to go to Pinas Bay, Panama, next March, on the trip of a lifetime.

I obviously want a camera to use to take pics of 4 days of what I hope is incredible bluewater fishing.

We have a Nikon 300, with two Nikkor lenses, but I was thinking that the CoolPix would be easier, and less risky to handle on a 32' Bertram.

Need some feedback,comments on this camera.

My Wife has the Nikon S630 and it is a nice point and shoot. You may want to try looking on DPreview.com for some reviews.
