Use a dry micro-fiber cloth if possible.
If that doesn't do it, use your breath to fog it, then wipe.
Don't use any kind of cleaning solution, as it could damage any coating on the glass, and will most definitely trash a UV filter if you have one.
They sell some special lens cleaning spray (still can't use it on UV filters) at local camera shops, but in my experience, fogging with your breath works just as good as long as you use a good, clean, soft cloth.
Like Eric said- the microfiber cleaning cloths are the way to go. I use the Scotchbrite lens cleaners that I buy at Academy by the checkouts. I was kinda hesitant to use anything called "Scotchbrite" on my glasses or camera lenses, but the microfiber cloths work really well!
I didn't realize that the lens cleaning solution would ruin a uv lens. Thanks for the info.
