A guy told me yesterday that they are going to do that to all of them, they had one wash out and float half way to the dam so theyre going to do that and pour concrete to reinforce all of them.

Seriously is that On Dardanelle? Did they do that on all of them? Did the Corps do it, or just some A hole that thinks he owns the back water. Ive got a portable oxy/acetylene torch that would undo that chain.

    to me
Hi Chris, A letter has been sent by Frank Leone and me to the Corps of Engineers at their request, they will attach their letter with ours and send to Union Pacific Railroad. Union Pacific closed the culvert because it needs repair and without the permission of the Corps of Engineers.

To properly repair the culvert the railroad will have to dig up the railroad bed; so for liability purposes they closed the culvert without Corps permission.
