Saw some nice fish there yesterday. One angler said he had found 55 degree water. Saw a nice 21+ lb bag with a 6.5 kicker as well as several bags in the teens...thought Sam might have been one of them.

hahahaha...I wish. I ain't been on Degray since December when I got my boat back and was only going to mark brush piles and break in my new LU. Looks like it may be turning on as all of the people I've talked to for the past 3 weeks say Degray has SUCKED!
I fished it, and left a check there.

Yeah, I talked to the guy at DeGray Bait Shop on the highway. He said he'd heard very few success stories.
During the time I was there I did see two over 6lbs weighed...
I had a limit. Four overs and one under. Figured it would be 9-10lbs. Turned out to be over 13lbs.
Lost a 3+ right at the boat.
I hate leaving checks at the lake, but, I was suprised at what I had, and glad that I "think" I might have figured "something" out.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........
It'll change from now til next week....

That's when something that you plan goes badly. Like my day on Greers Saturday....
It was tuff @ Greers Saturday. What won it, we had 2 for 4.03.
6 and change.....with our group. Dying shad gave 'em a buffet. They were stuffed and wouldn't bite less you hit 'em in the head. I think most of the fish weighed were actually snagged.
