I went to both too and neither were very impressive to me.....
I went to the boat show too, and if you wanted a pontoon, or a ski boat it was ok. Not many bass boats, and I did not find any really good deals on fishing gear either. I did see a bald man in a Kentucky shirt though. Not sure , but I think it was Sam.

Fished the river a little in the afternoon. Boat show after church today. Lucky? About as much as when I went fishing.......

You forgot to include aluminum fishing boats, as there were a few there.
Only Skeeter, Ranger, Stratos and BassCat were there in the glass boats.
Saw one Skeeter had "Sold" written on the sticker....went over to another dealer and saw same model same colors with bottom line price 2K less. Wonder if the buyer shopped around or was it love at first sight?
I found a couple of Fat Free Shad for $4 each and a Bomber Balsa square bill that I managed to get for $5.
Skeet Reese rods, all models for $79 each. I'll keep my CastAways, some guys go yellow because....they can. Just never has been a color that works for me.
I have had it with Boat shows and the Big Buck Classic. $5 for the Boat show and $10 for the classic for what? to have a bunch of people try and sell me stuff I can get anywhere else for alot cheaper? When I lived back in NJ there were two huge shows that cost $12-$15 to get in and it was the same thing just alot bigger and more people if I wanted to bump into that many people I would go to a club and get on the dance floor at least I may get some boob action as well

Should've been over at the "Ski Nautique" style boats....girls shopping the swim suits! Or the "Scentsy" scented candle booth...now that was fun! Lots of women trying to help this old guy out........

I won "a major award"!!! I expect it will be in a box from Italy...it's going to say "Fragile' " on it!

You didn't see me there. I was in your part of the woods Sunday. Fishing Degray...err....I'm not certain I'd consider what I did there to be "fishing" though...

I would much rather fish Maumelle. I can catch just as many 12 to 13 inch fish there and not have to drive an hour to do it, and I don't have to worry about ski boats, and lake lice.
