    Steering tourque

OK, everybody done good on the cold air effects now i need more info. 97 gambler/250 xb. When running at full throttle or close and i have to turn a little to the left to correct for the boat drifting right, not much just every now and then. There seems to be a lot of torque on the wheel to pull it left, Just running straight the wheel stays put with no tourque. Do i need to go with a trim tab to remove the tourque to make it easier to pull to the left. Everything is fairly new (helm-hoses-cyl) Back when i had cable steering on my other boats i could work it out with tabs but not sure what to do with the hydraulic steering.

Check to see if your gearcase has the "cast-in torque tab" on the starboard (right) side of the skeg.

Earlier style gearcases may NOT have this feature.

Several manufacturers offer add-on torque tabs (or, you could consider the safer option of a later-style Torquemaster Gearcase).
