Been a long week but thank goodness it's over. BFL tomorrow on Dardanelle and hopefully putting my boat back in service Sunday. Part for my trim is being delivered today.

Hopefully this day won't be too rough. Just want to get home - hit the bed, and have the boat in the water well before daylight tomorrow. It's gonna be a bad hot Saturday. Make sure you bring plenty of ice, water, and sunscreen. Don't need any dead fish and everyone home safe tomorrow evening.

I sure am glad the weekend is here but I wish I wasn't boatless. I got my new rod in from ALX custom rods to try out and my new Humminbird GPS came in too so I need to install it.

Sam, As long as I'm around, you're actually never "boatless".
Mark, Same thing, BUT....Given your current attitude, You'll have to supply your own battery for the Scamp.

They haven't had a chance to look at it yet. The person I talked to on Tuesday told me they may get to look at it this week and the guy I talked to yesterday said it would be a couple of weeks before they could look at it. I was a little mad about it but I understood. He apologized and said that they always try to tell customers a couple of weeks to be on the safe side. I just wish I would have been told that from the start. The wait is going to kill me before it's over.

True. It hurts sitting here looking at all this fishing equipment that I pulled out of the boat and new toys to go in it. A smart person would have been trying to re-organize everything and maybe downsize to a more manageable amount to put back in the boat but I was lazy today. I promised myself I would do it tomorrow.......MAYBE.

I hope we all get our boats back soon. I want to go back to Greers and finish my fishing trip that I started before my EvinRUDE so rudely interupted my day. BTW, Gayle, how did your Greers trip go?

I have mine...I just can't fish out of it. Fixing mine myself...no warranty=do it yourself...

I did not get to fish too much while I was there, but Sunday night about midnight the smallies started KILLING a big black spinnerbait. Had 10 and all were 2 to 2.5 pounds and 3 or 4, 14 to 15 inch largemouth. Monday night it was SLOW 2 fish 1 good smallie and a keeper large mouth the smallie hit a squash colored tube and the large mouth hit a watermelon and red super hog.

I thought abotu getting up and going a couple of mornings, but just could not drag myself out of bed (3 kids under 4 will wear you out.) Mostly we swam and hung out at camp or on the pontoon.
