Ok everyone, it seems we have selected a date and a lake......
Ramp choice is the next debate.....
I would like to fish some new waters and the Eagle Rock area and up on the Kings would be something new.... but accomadations may not be available that late in the year out that way.... I am going to check in to it....
What other ramps would you all like to consider?
Never been so have no preference....I am going to be spending a week over there in a week and a half...got any pointers around Kimberling City Resort...
Around Kimberling, Indian Point, about anywhere would be fine with me.

Somewhere near Kimberling. Easy access from AR and easy access to the whole lake from a boat.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

What if we did a 2 day, but both days are individual tourny's so that you dont HAVE to be there both days.......
Maybe we have a seperate prize for the largest 2 day sack, but the main prizes would be done for individual "tourny's"
Just trying to make it fair for anyone that can't be there both days. Makes no difference to me since I am 20 minutes up the road from Kimberling
As soon as I see the Rally page setup, we will start getting the sign up going so we can get an idea of how many may show up.

I think Kimberling will be the choice location for reasons mentioned above... you can run to any part of the lake and back fairly easily.
I was hoping for some new water, but this makes more sense and is reasonably located for everyone coming this way.... it is also 20 minutes up the road from my house so it will be much easier to get everything setup and in order.
I also have a couple of acres here so if anyone is pulling an RV your welcome to set up here at my place if you want and I will also find out where some other local RV spots are.
So right now based on the input that I am getting, I am planning to set the Rally up as a 2 day event.... I am thinking that we can run an 8 hour Tourny on Sat 6-2 or 7-3 and then a short 5-6 hour tourny on Sun from 6-12 or 7-12. The shorter tourny on Sunday allows everyone to hit the road shortly after noon and get home at a decent hour.
Each of the days will be an individual Tourny so you do NOT have to be here for both days and then there will be prizes for a combined 2 day heavy stringer......
Dates will be Sat and Sun October 23 and 24th, 2010 on Table Rock lake and we will be taking out of Kimberling City. The actual location is still to be determined when I check in to all of the hotel/resorts to see who can give us the best rates, accomdations and location.

Can you all start chiming in if you think your going to make it so I can get an idea of about how many may be attending. It will help me make sure that what ever hotel/resort I get with will be able to accomdate all of us.

My wife and I have the calender marked already. We hope to defend our second place finsih from last year.
Also maybe this year, instead of doing the meet and greet on Friday night we can do it Saturday night so that way both groups can meet each other if there are different folks fishing each day. Just a thought.
