    Congratulations Mark and Gayle!

    On your recent tournament successeseses.

Last Friday, If you'de have told me you were going to do that well, I've have thought you'de been better off playing Pick-Up Stix with your butt cheeks.

Alas, I have been proven wrong.

May your future fishies be just as bountifull and fat in your upcoming tournaments, and your hooks be sharp with huge barbs to help in landing.

    Congratulations once again.!!!

I think this thread has been hi-jacked.
Ya'll have taken it completely wrong direction.
It seems to be laying in the ditch on it's side.
I've never done that to a thread before.......

I started to post all the threads that have been Danny-jacked for proof, but found it was much easier to post the only thread that hasnt been, so here it is..

Alas, the course of conversation has many directions.
    Much like Clairday's boat driving......

Mark is the only person I have ever seen follow the old river channel at Greers from Point 7 to Point 4.

I ran a sraight line behind him and jumped his wake 36 times.

Re: Congratulations Mark and Gayle! (wildkat7)

I was being polite afterward and saying nice things about his boat and how fast it was, how I couldn't catch him, etc.

Truth be told, I was too dabm scared to try to pass him while he was in the midst of what could only be described as "evasive manuevers".

Luckily, my boat has seat belts, and I'm still here today. Because you don't want to be jumping a Ranger's wake all the way across Greers. I've never seen a boat throw 6ft rollers like that.

If it were fast enough to get on plane the wake would have been less. Maybe

That's just silly. Barges don't have gelcoat.

And I am sure the barges are a little faster.

I saw a tug going down river when the flow was around 120,000, and I am sure that there is not a ranger around that could have caught him.
