Bad trim gauge or faulty trim sender?

    Opti Model 1-225D73FY, SN 1B387675

Smartcraft trim gauge has always read 0 when trimmed full down, little over 6 at full tilt at speed.

Last outing, the gauge would show from 1/2 to 3 for full down, +6 to that for full up. Gauge needle moved appropriately and smoothly as the motor went up or down.

    Thoughts about what's broke?

Try recalibrating the trim from the Smartcraft Gauge.

Calibration instructions are included in the Smartcraft User's Manual/Guide.

If the problem persists after recalibration is complete, you may need to replace the trim sender.
