    H20 Reels

Just my opinion they are crappy...i know what do you expect for the price...but geez...

I was just going to try them out for extra reels and the price/guarantee, now i definately know you pay for what you get...

they were ok at first, now...i have two different models that the handles are coming off and wont stay on, thank goodness i called Academy and they will refund my money or swap the reels out..i def dont want to swap..

just letting everyone know my expierience...

I have a Maruad and other than the handle nut coming loose now and then it is not too bad for the price, casts well and seems to be as smooth as any other reel in that price range. I mostly use for a jig and it does ok for that.

Yea they have a few models and the one I have ( Maruad) the handle nut is on the back side of the handle and it will back off now and then, I keep the special wrench close so I can tighten up as needed. I would think that the models that have a traditional style nut would be less trouble. When I get home from this trip I think I will try a little 242 loctite on it and see if that will help keep it tight

    Re: H20 Reels (tat900)

Yeah the little wrench that comes with it tightens it right back up, but i dont want to do that every 10-15 casts...

yeah i took them back and got a full refund..i wont ever skip on quality again...CURADO much much better...
