We had 17+ lbs, 5 biggest fish....
Wind was very very tough....but overall a good time...caught 10 keepers on the day...
apparently the rusty hook tournament only took 17 something to win...Story of my life as we didnt enter...

That's awesome. Congrats. I'll be on Ouachita in a couple weeks for a BFL. Hope to catch a few then. Any pointers, although it'll probably change by then.
It changed for me overnight. I knew better than to count on shallow fish.
Shallow fish are there all week before TX day just to mess with you.
Come tx day, things that will mess it up.
1. Weather
2. Air Boats
3. Yo-Yo's
I got "yo-yo'ed" and had NO backup plan.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........
well we caught a few trap fish, and a few crank fish...
mostly shallow
