I still hurt from slingin a crankbait all weekend long at Quachita.
BUT, It's only Tuesday and I'm already having withdrawal symptoms.

I can't do that much cranking...I'll go nuts. My partner could crank all day. If not throwing a jig most of the day, I'm irritated.

its not as bad if you have the right equipment..but i wouldnt recommend throwing a DLN or DD22 with a walmart rod...just my opinion

Not a tournament. Just standing on the TM, checking things out. And slinging a, uhh, a, uhhh......can't tell yall's just yet. But, It didn't have any hooks on it (most of the day).

Made me wanna put on a DD22, back off the drag, and do a "rip lips off" hookset everytime I grabbed a clump of grass.

Last year for Ouachita I fished the BFL on Saturday and MBOA on Sunday, CB and JB all day both days (a little jigging mixed in) and Sunday night I wondered how the pros do it, felt like a whooped dog. In the fall I fished a three day derby and loved every second of it, must be the cold weather making it tough.

This year, I haven't fished a tx yet, but all I can say for now is... bring the pain.

I'm thinkin...Lazy boy recliner, fastened to the rear deck, Somebody else on the TM (lock it on lowest setting).
And just kick back with a carolina rig.

Needs to a recliner with a cupholder though.
