Alien cowl

thanks it is a very nice cowl and its super light....the actual motor is a 2000 225 promax....im trying to score a alien head and pan...its looking like i can get one from bobs machine shop.... didnt want to shell out a grand even tho im sure i can get something decent for this one....its not a huge deal to sport this for awhile, getting my lower unit back from bobs tommorow and already got a 28 b/c performer prop to put on, then its click click (up)!!! im excited!!

If I were you I would look on scream and fly for a used factory alien cowling. The eagle one cowlings I have seen don't look that great.

The prop should be good for 84 mph running solo with a fishing load if you are running a 20ft bullet

Thanks for the info on the cowl...good to know maybe ill just keep what i got!!!! Iam running a 20 fter a 20xdc....any thing with 8 in it is good for me!

Man you need to leave that old skool cowl on there!!!! Theres not many of us left!! I personally like the lines of the Bridgeport cowl better than the Alien.

I will say this there are some great people on this bullet forum who have done nothing but help me out! Always point me in the right direction or direct me to someone who can help me out... Iam totally hooked on bullet boats and ive had all the others....Im glad i finally got a bullet and appreciate all the people on here! I want to make it to a ralley sometime!

after much thought and going back and forth , sad to say out with the old and in with the alien new, the bridgeport cowl is for sale!!!!

The tunnel boat race crowd tell me that the old style cowl is faster, lighter and narrower than the Alien style. The Alien sure does look cool though ...
