I put a float free sender in mine and all is well. No swaying gauge readings. Fully adjustable from full to empty.

no real troubles with the one i have just bullet put it in the front of the tank and it reads empty when its half full. i just wanna relocate the whole assy to the rear of the tank.

You may be able to rotate the assembly so the moving parts are toward the rear/center if they are not already...
