Setback Question

I have an 08 20xrd with an 08 250xs, 1.62 gears sportmaster with a 12" hydrodynamics rapid jackplate. I'm thinking of going with an Atlas hydraulic jackplate. Would I do better staying with a 12" setback or would I have some improvements going to a 14" setback?
