What Set-up For New Motor?? 20XD/225 Pro xs

A friend needs info. He's got a 98 20XD with a 2011 225 pro XS torquemaster foot, 10 in. jackplate . He's go a 26 Trophy hitting the rev limiter, 27 ( forgot name --xtrx or simular ) is not yet drilled for exhaust holes but keeps him about 200rpm below rev limiter.

Can anyone with this set-up give him your j/p setting and any other info to take some guess work out of his need set-up????

P.S. --he says he tries to slow down with the 27 prop ---the nose falls and begins to rock side to side really bad.
He used to have a 200 efi motor on this rig and could hold it with no issues at wot.

Sounds like he is not trimming down a touch when letting off the throttle and the boat is just falling off the pad.

I would think he is going to need a Sportmaster lower.

Most have a 12" setback with that set up also some do use a 14 with great results.

Set up with the Tmaster is jack it as high as it will go till it loses water pressure then back down about a click, but be careful!! Depending on trim angle it could blow out from 85 mph on up..

I'm thinking sportmaster also to be able to squeeze all the juice out of it.
