Hey guys... got my hands on some new style bullet logos... was wondering if anyone has any tips on removing the old style decals... they seem really hard and stuck on there... I have used lighter fluid, as well as goo-gone to remove the old registration #'s on my boat, and that worked fine, but these decals look like they are much more resilient... any ideas?

Have you tried heat? Leave it out in the direct sun and or use a heat gun.

haven't tried a heat gun... but will do... my buddy said they work well removing cowling decals... thanks

Also when you get them removed, clean the area with acetone so the new stickers will adhere good!

The wife's hairdryer worked for me
A heat gun and a wooden paint stir stick worked for me. Heat them up, scrape them off and WD-40 the residue.
3M make's a yellow wheel yhat u can put on a cordless drill it does wonders on old sticker's and wont hurt gelcoat or painted finishes,u should find it at a local auto paint suppler.
