    How long.......

Did it take you guys to learn how to drive your Bullets at WOT?
How long did it take to get it set up to go that fast? I mean as far as transferring weight around, motor height, props, etc?

Not long at all, but the boat I had before the Bullet was a b!tch to drive and it would run in the mid 80s. I jumped right in the Bullet and drove WOT. Coming from a slower boat, I'm sure it would take a little seat time.

Not long if you listen to the experts on this forum. They know Bullets and how to set them up to run their best, get it balanced, and drive it to it's max. It depends on how much gas and effort your willing to put into it and how much experience you have driving bass boats with a lot of HP. You have to drive it like your in a race car, and man is it fun. Gives me a rush every time I run mine WOT. Bullets are great boats.

I ran a few hulls like Shadow and some tunnels but this was the easiest to step into and run: remember this: with the big 3 ( A-B-S ) boats you drive with trim, throttle then steer it. I see alot of guys want to drive mine and they get to 70 quick but then they over trim and try to "drive" the boat. You fly the hull on a BULLET not drive it. Its in the "hips" feel the boat and correct, best training ad is to find a riding lawn tractor mower ,what ever, and try to drive a straight line, after a while it becomes second nature, but seat time it takes to get it right. I feel fine in mine and have learned its attitude but YOU NEVER KNOW it all. I was taught by some ol river racers that run on the edge and seem to have it. I set mine up right out of the box thanks to Paul and Reed.

Big thing is that if you get the rig balanced.......it will acclerate how quick you will be able to drive it easily at full throttle

    Re: How long....... (Bulleteer)

Like said above. Balance the boat 1st. Then seat time and motor height.

If you know how to feel what the boats doing and understand what to do to correct any issue or make adjustments you should have no problem. In my opinion a Bullet is a very easy boat to drive and more forgiving than other brands. Especially the 21-10.

I have tried to run my boat when it is un balanced and its night and day difference. No good

    Re: How long....... (Hydrilla)

I have alot of shopping to do before my next boat purchase. My current boat, as seen in my siggy, is not a fast boat, 71.7gps is all I can get. It's my first boat and I had to "learn" how to drive it. It will start to "walk" around 62 and it can be a handful.
I've never tried to "balance" it, but it seems to sit right with me in it. Anyhow, when I get ready to start shopping, I dont want to rule out a Bullet.....especially at 21'10

    Re: How long....... (capt_lunker)

It takes a few times to get over the chime walk. I had a champion 184 with a150 XR2 and you punch it trim it all the way up and go. You do that with a Bullet and you will be in trouble. I have a 14 inch jack plate you dont need to trim all the way up to get the bow up. YOU just need seat time. It took me probabley 5 or 6 times out to get it right . Once you do what a riot, sometimes you dont even to fish you just to hot rod aroung.

WOT is not a problem "if" its setup correctly and as several have said balanced properly... Seat time in a "Flying Bullet" is tops...

Like BadaSSbullet, I had a boat that had to be DRIVEN and would only run high 70's. Getting in my 21XDC was a piece of cake, once I got the motor broke in.
