    I just want to know

    Do you ever get to a point that you don`t want to drive your Bullet as fast as you can? Every time I go out I just can`t help myself, I start out with good intentions but I wind up at WOT! I guess they are just too much fun.

    I'll tell ya, I didn't think that day would come. But when gas got to 4+ bucks gallon (for regular) and I was pumping premium in my 250XB, I slowed down.
    Discipline is the key, if you can't hack it, pack it!

    Two problems here in Michigan... The big lakes are normally too rough to run WOT and the small calm lakes are too short. But I try like he!! anyway.

    Exactly.

    You can run 90mph for 5 days straight and still think you can get 91 on the 6th day. I love it.

    how true although it really is fun to cruise at the WOT speeds of the other brands or to "slow ride" along at 20 mph and really piss'um off, cause they now its fast and anytime it can run.

    I usually just stab at it when someone around me in another rig starts thinkin silly thoughts..

    I love that sweet sound of the pad just barely smackin the water. What gets a little scary is when that sweet sound dissapears

    I just got back from lake Wheeler and the first day there I ran over 80 miles. Didn't run that @ full speed. Now if someone tried to pass well.....

    That is why i now have a 250XS i spent way to much on fuel when i had a 250XB .The XS has power and speed and spend a whole lot less at the pump.

    Nope. Nothing like the expression on someone's face when they think they are hauling the mail and almost 22' of boat comes flying by them hung out in the air

    I've started out with the same intentions from time to time, "going to take it easy", but the 280 on the back of my 20' Bullet is just yelling "lets do it man!!!!!!" I just got back from a tourney last week end, 157 boats, my 8 year old son and I were boat 91, I was going to take it easy for his sake, after we eased through alot of the crowd we found good water and 90+ to our first spot. Had a guy come up to me at weigh-in said he had never seen anything like it when we went buy him. Kinda makes a guy feel good about his rig.

    I just lay back and chill now, try not to run WOT unless I have to. With power and speed come humility. Just cuz I have one of the faster boats on the lake does not mean I have to prove it, well at least not all the time just most of the time.
