Need a set up and prop help

I have a 2000 20 XD with a 2002 225 X ProMax ,10'' Rapid jack with a 5'' Hyd jackplate on top of it 1.75 gears I have a 28 performer with a Bullet cut but the hole shot sucked when loaded , I tryed a 25 tempest and hit the rev limiter....78mph @6800 rpm .....havent tryed the performer since i just got new spark plugs (the right ones) and a new fuel pressure regulater>>>> also have a 27 tempest im gonna try......with the hyd jack all the way down prop shaft is splitting the pad

1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches above the pad will be ideal for that setup. For fishing...a 28 drag 4 was my best all around prop...a 29 SRX is also good. For top speed, light load running...a 32 Performer 3 would be VERY HARD to beat.

I had a chance last Thrusday at our local big fish tourney to run the 28 performer it done good 82.5 at 6700 loaded with full gas and 2 people it done much better than the 25 Tempest not quit as good out of the hole but it will do for now and it was a plus that it was the 2nd win in a row
